Accessibility
This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Here is what that means in practice, and what is known to fall short of it.

What has been done
- Every piece of content renders and reads without JavaScript. Nothing is hidden behind a script.
- Body text meets or exceeds a 4.5 to 1 contrast ratio against its background, and the main text on the page ground reaches 16 to 1.
- Keyboard focus is always visible, and the focus ring is part of the design rather than a browser default that can be styled away by accident.
- There is a skip link to the main content as the first focusable element on every page.
- Headings run in order with one level-one heading per page, so a screen reader outline matches what you see.
- There are no forms to fill in anywhere on this site. Contact is a plain email address and a phone number, both readable as text and not hidden behind a script.
- Every image has alt text that describes what is actually in it.
- Animation stops entirely if your system is set to reduce motion. Nothing moves on its own otherwise.
- Interactive targets are at least 24 by 24 pixels, and most are 48.
- The layout works down to a 320 pixel viewport and at 200 per cent browser zoom without content being cut off.
Known limitations
The framed previews of portfolio sites are scrollable regions inside the page. They can be reached with the keyboard and scrolled with the arrow keys, and each one has a description, but a nested scrolling area is still more awkward than plain content. The same material is described in text next to every frame, so nothing is only available inside the frame.
The portfolio sites shown inside those frames are separate projects with their own accessibility characteristics, and this statement does not cover them.
